A scholarship fund has been established for a person named Linda/Lynda, and it may be used at the college of her choice. The Scholarship was established in 1996 with a donation from the faculty and staff of Des Moines Area Community College in memory of one of their staff members, Linda Wehage-Gardner.
The recipient must be recommended by a Linda/Lynda who is a L.I.N.D.A. Club member. The letter of recommendation from that Linda/Lynda member must be mailed to the Linda Office by June 1st along with the letter from the Linda/Lynda requesting to be considered for the Scholarship. In her letter we also require that Linda/Lynda tell us which college she will be attending and what she will be studying.
The letter of request and recommendation must show the need for assistance and is to be sent to the L.I.N.D.A. home office address.
It will then be reviewed by the Board Members and they will decide who will receive the Scholarship.
The Scholarship will be presented at the convention in July.
