An Education Fund has been established for a person named Linda/Lynda, and it may be used at the college of her choice. The fund was established in 1996 with a donation from the faculty and staff of Des Moines Area Community College in memory of one of their staff members, Linda Wehage-Gardner.
To apply:
- Applicants must complete the L.I.N.D.A. Education Fund Application, found on this page below. Download the form and complete it.
- The applicant must also be recommended by a Linda/Lynda who is a L.I.N.D.A. Club member. The letter of recommendation from that Linda/Lynda member must be mailed to the Linda Office by June 1.
The application and recommendation must show the need for assistance and is to be mailed to the L.I.N.D.A. home office address at: L.I.N.D.A., P.O. BOX 269, Rockton, IL 61072
The applications will then be reviewed by the Board Members and a decision will be made on the recipient.
The Education Fund recipient will be announced at the convention in July.
